“I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you.”
—Joel 2:25 (ESV)
No, it's not New Year's Day, but as Anne says of Green Gables, "Tomorrow is always fresh with no mistakes in it." In other words, we can choose a new resolve whenever we want! I have a devotional with the title, "Alway We Begin Again." We can start over as much as we need too.
To be honest, I'm quite sick of starting over. I have has SO many changes in a short period of time, and we are about to embark on yet another! I just started a new M-F show with American Media Periscope called "Counter Narrative with Kristi Leigh" and now we are getting ready to move (only about an hour South.)
There are so many things to be grateful for! But it hasn't been an easy road to navigate. Almost two years into going independent, now more than ever, I do have moments of sadness and kind of a reality check about everything I gave up when I left mainstream news: financial security and all that comes with that, more time with family, having friends! haha. BUT, don't worry. I still don't regret it.
All this to say, who would like to join me in "beginning again?" I really need to make my health a priority again - proper nutrition, exercise, and spiritual health. Could we create a community of accountability here? Encourage one another? What do you think?
… she maybe loves him a little too much! Lol! Thanks for keeping this page active in my absence as we settle in! Having a toddler and infant is NO JOKE!
We are all doing well but I think the postpartum sadness is starting to settle in. I think it’s more so just doubting my ability to manage everything and uncertainty about the future. Please pray for direction and provision!
What do you all need prayer for? How were the holidays for you?
