Pray through the Psalms Day 3:
Good Morning! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I was going to hop on this morning but I’m enjoying a rare moment of quiet -drinking coffee with my husband.
So please humor me and share your thoughts/updates/prayer requests in the comments!
Day 2 was praying through the Psalm 34 - David encouraging all to draw near to the Lord no matter the circumstances because that’s where you’ll find peace and blessings . Day is praying through Psalm 38 where David is suffering under the weight of his own sin. He accepts fault for bringing his misery on himself but begs God (reminds himself) God has not and will not abandon him.
Well, that’s what I took away from yesterday and today’s readings anyway. :) How about you?
Today, I feel motivated to “nest” (continue the cleaning and organizing efforts.) We’ll see how that goes! Haha.
Yesterday was our day of relaxing. Watching movies and we enjoyed “surf & turf” for Thanksgiving. John made the best steak! Yum!
Love you all and I’ll “see” you Monday!
… she maybe loves him a little too much! Lol! Thanks for keeping this page active in my absence as we settle in! Having a toddler and infant is NO JOKE!
We are all doing well but I think the postpartum sadness is starting to settle in. I think it’s more so just doubting my ability to manage everything and uncertainty about the future. Please pray for direction and provision!
What do you all need prayer for? How were the holidays for you?
